Learn sewing techniques which will allow you to create beautiful and individual pieces. Sewing and Millinery classes with Vikki will give you the freedom to develop these skills in a comfortable and positive setting. A maximum of 6 students per class ensures personal, attentive tuition.

 offers a series of training programs, developed with the beginner in mind. Subjects include garment construction, patternmaking, bag making and Millinery. For example, students can enrol in the Introduction to Sewing course and then move on to Start to Sew 1 and Start to Sew 2. The three courses combine to create a fifteen week program, complemented with manuals and a student work book.

    From an early age I had a love for fashion design and construction, and over the past twenty five years have continued to develop these skills professionally. I graduated from RMIT with a Diploma of Arts in Fashion, and later pursued two years of training in the art of Millinery.

Throughout the course of my career, I have had a broad variety of professional experience in designing and constructing costumes, bridal wear, made-to-measure garments and specialised headwear. A recent highlight for me whilst a member of the Millinery Association of Australia was my involvement in the fabulous parade held each year for the Spring Racing Carnival.

By creating 'Sew with Vikki Leigh Martin', I am able to share my skills and experience. I believe learning should be enjoyable and relaxed - this is the environment I endeavour to create for my students.
